Meet the RevLifter: Rachel Lauer

by | Jan 16 2023

Welcome to our first ‘Meet the RevLifter’ edition of 2023, where we profile the brains behind the innovation.

This week, we talk to Rachel Lauer. Since joining RevLifter in 2021 as a Business Development Executive, Rachel now manages and nurtures our partner relationships through her role as Partnership Development Manager.

Tell us about your career

I’ve been lucky enough to work with many different people in different industries throughout my career.

I have experience in project management, legal administration and, international relations and event management. From these experiences I have learned how to make the most of a project, work effectively with different team members and come up with innovative solutions to complex problems.

My journey given me a unique perspective and pushed me to approach every problem in a creative way. I love learning in general and enjoy working with others, which is why managing partnership development at RevLifter has been a great fit for me.

What’s your role at RevLifter?

In my role as Partnership Development Manager, I am always looking for new opportunities to explore and proactively raise awareness of our products, services and partner programmes.

I work alongside many other teams such as marketing, sales and customer success to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and to ensure our partners’ goals are always prioritized and achieved.

Why RevLifter?

As a business, RevLifter is incredibly collaborative and supportive. It’s incredibly easy to work with a company that values its employees and fosters innovation.

RevLifter’s products are amazing and the team behind them are incredible as well. It’s nice to have genuine excitement about what the company is doing, where it’s going in the future, and how it plans to change its industry.

What’s different about working here?

I’d say the big difference comes down to the level of responsibility we have. No matter what your position is, everyone has the opportunity to contribute to the business and take on new projects.

RevLifter has prioritised its working culture in a way that gives employees the freedom to own their workload while providing clear support. It’s great to work for a company that values your opinions at every level.

What’s your favorite moment from working here so far?

I’ve loved spending time with the teams in both our Newcastle and London offices.

Whether it’s a team lunch, a group brainstorming session or a games night, it’s really great to be able to get together with the team face-to-face.

What excites you about the journey we’re going on?

RevLifter is pioneering the personalized deals revolution. It’s really exciting working in eCommerce, where the landscape continues to change with new innovation in technologies.

What I find the most exciting about the future is the potential to collaborate with new technology partners and continue to adapt our technology to best suit our clients’ needs.

What do you do in your free time?

I love sports and love to travel. I am fortunate enough to live by the sea, so I’m currently learning how to surf! I’m comfortable being at one with the sea and I’m working towards getting my PADI so that I can go on a scuba diving on holiday with my friends.

For something a bit more different, I also enjoy volunteering at our local beekeeping society, which I find really fulfilling.
